Mohammad Nazary was born in 1995 in one of the northern cities of Iran, Rasht, and he lives in this city so far.
Growing up in a conservative and religious family increased his love for freedom and equality greatly over time. Inner suffering and isolation led him to study graphic design at the University of Guilan. By travelling and using the medium of photography, he – as a freelancer photographer – watched cultures and heard different stories of people in Iran and its neighboring countries and learned to perceive the stories of others in the same environment, so he was able to connect them using different visual approaches. He is interested in topics such as self-awareness, environment, gender, emotions and cognitive sciences, and questioning about happiness in the societies of the so-called “third-world countries”. Coexistence, travelling and being in the flow are his most important goals for living.
